Visual Interaction is a Unity3d Asset enabling complex interaction between player and environment, without leaving the Unity editor. It contains a suite of customisable ‘actions’ and ‘triggers’ which can be applied to objects and adjusted from the Unity inspector. It also contains a demo scene in which the player must move around a room and interact with a bank of in-game controls to unlock and open a door.
Customized Unity3d inspectors and in-depth documentation and examples make learning and using the system easy for non-coders, and the entire system is designed to be easily extensible for use by those with coding knowledge to speed up their development time.
To deliver the demo scene, and for general use by end users, the asset also contains a set of simple industrial-themed 3D models and sound effects I designed including switches, buttons, lights, gauges etc.
